Playing Chorus 2, Lick 28 on 'Natural D Blues'

KIVETT BEDNAR: To play lick number 28 of the second chorus of the "D-Natural Blues" by Wes Montgomery, start by placing your ring finger on the 9th fret of the top string, and you're going to slide up with that finger a minor 3rd to the 12th fret, and then fall back on your middle finger. This is coming from [PLAYS LICK], and then fall back a whole step. So you're going to alternate, jumping a major 3rd from the 2nd string to the top, and then falling back a whole step. So, your lick should sound like this [PLAYS LICK]. So, I'm going to play it two times slow and two times fast [PLAYS LICK].
