Playing Chorus 2, Lick 19 Picked on 'Natural D Blues'

KIVETT BEDNAR: There's just one or two specific things you need to know about the picking hand for lick number 19 in the second chorus, or leading into the second chorus. So you might want to start this lick with either a downstroke or an upstroke. It really doesn't matter 'cause you're going to have enough time to get to here, but once you do, you need to sweep down rather than trying to pick each note. [PLAYS LICK WITH ALTERNATE PICKING] That is wrong, [PLAYS LICK WITH ALTERNATE PICKING] wrong, [PLAYS LICK WITH SWEEP PICKING] right. You'll be able to play a lot more quickly and a lot more accurately once you master the sweeping technique.
