Playing Chorus 1, Lick 8 Picked on 'Natural D Blues'

KIVETT BEDNAR: There's just one thing that you need to remember for lick number eight in the first chorus of this Wes Montgomery solo. When you fall down chromatically from the E to the D, it's just you're striking once the 2nd string, and then you're just pulling off on the E flat. You don't actually pick every note. It's just [PLAYS LICK] so I'm only actually picking the string once [PLAYS LICK], and then I'm pulling off the other notes and hammering on this one [PLAYS LICK]. The rest of the notes are just picked, alternating like normal. [PLAYS LICKS]
