Playing Chorus 1, Lick 7 on 'Natural D Blues'

KIVETT BEDNAR: To play the lick seven in this Wes Montgomery solo, first chorus, start with your forefinger on the 6th fret of the top string, and I want you to hammer on to the 7th fret with your middle finger, and then catch down on the 2nd string, the 8th fret with your ring finger, and then go down to the 7th fret of the 3rd string, and then lastly end on the 6th fret of the 2nd string. The whole lick should sound like this. This is over the IV7 chord. So basically, what we're doing is hammering on in into the 3rd of the chord then going down to the root or the 1 of the chord, and then down to the 5th, and then ending on the dominant 7th, two times really slow and one time fast [PLAYS LICKS].
