KIVETT BEDNAR: To play lick four from chorus one of the "D-Natural Blues," Wes Montgomery solo, start by placing your ring finger on the 7th fret of the 3rd string, and your lick should sound like this [PLAYS LICK 4]. Again, this is coming from the third lick, which goes [PLAYS LICK 3 AND 4]. That's how to string those two together. So, we're going to be here with our ring finger on the 3rd string, 7th fret [PLAYS NOTE], and then we're going to go up one string with our pinkie, a perfect 4th away [PLAYS NOTES], and [PLAYS 3 NOTES] walk back a half step to F#, and then our forefinger should end on E [PLAYS LICK 4 SEGMENT]. I'm going to play it two times really slowly and then one time up to speed, [PLAYS LICK 4 SLOWLY] again [PLAYS LICK 4 SLOWLY], and [PLAYS LICK 4 TO SPEED].
