Today we're going to learn how to make a diamond shape, a large diamond shape. Basically, you're going to start off with this just like we have in the past with a butterfly. When you make your butterfly, you want to start with your basic butterfly shape. Then you're going to keep going. You're going to put your pliers just at the very edge of your last circle. You're going to keep going in the opposite direction that you went last time. You're going to line it up right with the edge of the butterfly wings that you just made. To make it easier, go ahead and flatten the wings of the butterfly just to make it all really nice and neat. I happen to have pliers that have flat edges right here. If you have regular round nose pliers or needle nose pliers, you can use your flat pliers to push that down. You're going to keep going making almost a butterfly on top of a butterfly. Once you have a shape that's kind of like this, which is a small diamond. As you keep going around and around repeating the same shape, you're going to end up with a large diamond shape like this, which makes great earrings, pendants, or bracelets.
