How to Boil Potatoes for a Turkish Roll

Hi I'm Leah on behalf of Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to make some quick and easy Turkish dishes. We're going to go ahead and- we've got some boiling water we're going to use to cook the potatoes. Now we're going to need to mash these with a fork, so we're going to make sure we get them nice and soft. So, we're going to go ahead and pop these in there. I'm just going to flip them so there covered by the water. We'll just let them cook until they're tender enough to be mashed with a fork. Our potatoes are tender now. We're going to go ahead and just take a fork and test them to make sure we can push a fork into them easily and the forks right in and they're starting to break apart which is perfect. Just take them out, put them right in our bowl, then we're going to let them cool off a little bit before we actually start to mix them with anything else.
