How to Clean & Prepare Carrots for Pot Roast

Hi, this is Josiah Owen and today we are going to talk about making pot roast. Now we are going to go ahead and talk about preparing our carrots for our stew. We have 4 medium carrots. We would start off by chopping off the ends and discarding those. We would turn them around and do the same to the other end cause we don't want that. Put the knife to the side we are going to come back and take off the skin. Just any kind of peeler would do. If you don't have a peeler and you can handle with a small paring knife. The idea is to get the most amount of skin off without taking away from the carrot. Put that to the side. The same exact thing for the other 3. Do your last one and if you want to go back and check your carrots to make sure the peel is off, you can do that.
