Considerations for Buying Tires

RICK GEISSLER: Hi, I'm Rick Geissler, expertvillage.com, coming to you from A & R Tire, talking about how to buy tires. I'm second generation in the tire business. We started this company in 1968 so we're celebrating our 40th year this year. We've been complete automotive and tire repair for the last 40 years. Buying tires, the importance of buying tires is fourfold, basically. Safety is one of the things you should consider. Price is not a consideration, in most cases, because price per mile is really the way you should calculate the purchase of a tire. Comfort, quality, ride control, stability. Those are the way--what we look at it when we talk to a customer and identifying their needs for tire purchases.
