Treatment Options for Testicular CancerHello my name is Dr. Susan Jewell. Now in this clip we're going to talk about a treatment of testicular cancer. Now when you're diagnosed with testicular cancer the doctor's going to say to you the most probable way to a treat this cancer is to do surgery. And a because most testicular cancers are malignant and you want to remove all the malignant tumor from that, from the area to really get full recovery. Now the treatment procedures called Inguinal Orchiectomy, Orchiectomy really means removal of the testicle and that is the recommendation that the surgeon or the doctor will tell you if you're diagnosed or positive with testicular cancer is to remove not just the, the cancerous mass but also to get a hundred percent removal of the cancer they're going to suggest a suggest you to remove the whole testicle. So this is the Orchiectomy, then the normally the surgery then is followed by Chemo Radiation. So this is a the treatment of most testicular cancers that the, the doctor will order.
