Opening Stand for Origami Edelweiss

Now that our fish base is complete what we are going to do is take our model that we have here. We are going to flip it over just fold it over like so. Just go ahead and fold these guys over as well and then we are going to take it and fold it once again in half again. Leaving these guys on the outside, these are going to be the leaves that we are working with. Then we are going to take our model, take the inside portion leaf and pull it forward just bit. Kind of that angle to get it prefolded here. To have it look like that. That is the way we are going to have it stand when we put out model. So what we are going to do is bring this over and open this up. Don't open it up too much cause we are going to pull this bend that we have already pulled out of it. Just going to take this and fold this over like so creasing it down pretty good. So it would stay and we are going to do the same thing on the other side. Take it, crease it in and run it all the way to the top something like that. We actually don't have to do the top piece but we would just do it here. There we go. What we are going to do is we are going to kind of fold this together like so just pushing these 2 pieces together. Oops I pulled my bend out from the bottom here. There we go that is the beginning of our stand.
