Today we're going to learn the many uses of a jump ring. As we talked about before, a jump ring you make like this. Right here I have my wire. Making it as large or small as you need your jump ring. I'm taking a pair of curved flat pliers. I'm going to grab it towards the end and I'm going to start as much like a circle as I can. Just keep curving. You can even press it using your flat pliers pressing it down to make it more flat, making the wire flat so it goes around to make a circle. When you get to the end, you use your wire cutters to snip off the end. That's going to make a nice snap and connect the 2 ends like so. If you need to separate your jump ring for any reason, you're going to separate it turning it to the side like this and then adding your beads of your connecting pieces and then putting it back into place. If you pull it apart like this, you're going to compromise the shape of the jump ring. If you have a lot of jump rings, you can make a necklace, bracelet, earrings, anything you want to. It's very useful and that's how you make a jump ring.
