Inserting Beads into Wire Shapes for Making Jewelry

We're going to learn how to make different types of accents around your beads using your wire wrapping. You're going to start with your wire in varying sizes depending on what you're wrapping. Take a piece of wire, cut it to the length that's desired depending on what kind of bead you have. You're going to start by grabbing at the end of the wire and start to twist as we've done in other clips. You're going to keep making the sun glass type shape and just keep wrapping that around. Eventually, you'll make it so it's kind of like a straight line. As you twist, you'll start to make a shape. It can be a circle; it can be square; it can be a diamond. Then whatever you have leftover is where you'll put your bead. Insert the bead in the straight part of the wire and your remaining part will wrap around. This is a great way to do different types of shapes. Right here we have kind of a circle, a very tight circle. It could even be like a tear drop shape. Here we used a larger bead and we wrapped it around in a circular shape, but you can see the wire is all the way through that way it's secured in there. Here is a little mushroom with a little end there and a bead in the middle. The options are limitless and you can make any type of shape with a bead inside.
