CINDY MASTRY: In this clip, Faith is going to help us demonstrate Hasta Padguthasana or the standing hand to toe pose. So we're going to use the strap so that it's going to lengthen Faith's arms and alleviate her rounding her back to reach to her toe. So we're just going to have Faith take the strap. Good. As she's going to inhale and ground through her feet and ground through her center so engage her core, she's going to lift her knee up to her chest and place her foot right into the strap. Good. She's going to get her balance, and as she inhales, she's going to lengthen her foot forward, stretching out through the hamstring. Good. Inhaling, pressing her femur bone back into her hip, and then as she exhales lengthening out through the sole of her foot. Good. Inhale, drawing that energy down out of the earth up to crown of the head, and exhale, sinking, drawing that leg in just a little bit closer as she presses the energy out through the foot. Good. Inhaling in, bringing her foot up towards her head. Beautiful, Faith.
