AMANDA CLAIRE: And it is not a bad idea to have a lot of different kind of potentiometers on hand. I mean, all of these kind of work on a rotary concept. There are other kinds. Here is one that works kind of in a sliding concept. It's the same idea. It's providing variable resistance from side to the other, it just slide instead of rotates. Like is said, a lot of them are sort of rated different kinds of resistance and it's not a bad idea to have a lot on hand. You can experiment with these using alligator clips. You just put one clip on one terminal and one on the other and then put them on different places on your circuit board and as you turn the knob, you'll be able to kind of feel the effect. We'll get in all that a little bit later. But like is said, it's nice to have some on hand. You can experiment with them with alligator clips and then you find one that works well and then you can install that one. Because like I said, they are not all the same. Some do a linear taper and some will do an audio taper which means some of them - you have the full play of turning the switch and kind of hear that gradual change over. But some of them, you only need to turn a little tiny bit. They are really sensitive and then it cuts out. And so, you really want to have several options you can play with and see which ones work well for the application you're using it for.
