How to Circuit Bend on a Kid's Guitar

BENDERELLA: This is another example. This is a little kid's guitar. I've done a little bit of kind of visual modification to it which is not really circuit bending. I mean that's just kind of the decorative thing. I mean, it looks Eddie Van Halen's guitar on the back so that's sort of cool. But, so this one again kind of is--it's a kid's toy and makes certain notes and sounds on its own, right? But if you can see, I have this body contacts again kind of inserted here; they're actually steel-headed thumbtacks, and I'll show later how to use them and what you can do with this one, it's a little bit unpredictable, the behavior on this one but I'll try it to get it to do something. Ah, there we go, perfect timing. Hear that? Yeah, right. So I've totally short circuited it and it sounds, creep-- sounds like it's going completely nuts, which is sort of the point. So there's another example.
