AMANDA CLAIRE: So before we get into what circuit bending is and how you do it, I'll just show you few examples of some circuit bendings that I have made. This is an example, this is a kid's toy that I found at a flea market, or actually not a flea market, like a thrift store, and although you can find stuffs like this at flea markets. And you see, it's got, it's got some switches on it that obviously it didn't come with from manufacturer. It's got a dial on that didn't come with the manufacturer and each of these things has been wired inside to the circuit board that I was able to get to by just kind of opening it up by taking some of the screws out of the back. And so, now what I've got is something that no one else has. I mean it makes all the sounds that it--made from the manufacturer naturally but now it does things like this, loops, certain sounds. I can turn this dial and have it loop at a different rate. Here's a slower rate. I've got some other loops in here somewhere. Let me find one. Let me find one here. Here's one. Okay. So that's cool, and I've also got some body contacts here which are basically little pieces of metal that I can touch and basically act as resistor in the circuit. We change the pitch. Right? So there's one example.
