Hi my name is Douglas Willott on behalf of Expert Village and today we're going to be talking about shopping for shoes online. Alright, you've placed your order, everything's going great. But there are a few more basic tips you could use before you order or maybe for next time now that you've done it once and you're going to be a bit more confident ordering shoes online. First of all, if you don't get out to the store and you're just browsing, how do you know what the best shoes are? So maybe you don't have to do a refund scenario or you're more than happy with your purchase. Stick with brands you know and trust. If you've been wearing sketchers for a long time and you think they're a great shoe. Go ahead and continue to trust sketchers when you buy online. Any brand you know and trust is gonna send you the exact same shoe in the mail as you'll be getting in the store. Additionally, stick to stores you know. If you're not comfortable going to an online only retailer and there's a store you normally go to. Just go ahead and go straight with that site. Even if you're not going to save some money, the confidence that you keep may be worth the extra dollars that you're gonna spend. Let's say you're buying it as a gift but you're not quite sure what to get your nephew or maybe your mom. Go ahead and just get a gift card. Everyone likes a gift card. Especially for online shopping. They're vey redeemable online. It's very easy. It works the exact same as it does in the store. Gift cards are a very good option for these scenarios. Finally, if you're purchasing shoes. Go ahead and purchase more than one pair if you're planning on buying more than one from the same site. A lot of cases this is gonna save you time for shipping and often they'll give you free shipping because you're purchasing over a certain amount of money.
