Opening Triangles for Origami Azalea

Now as we look down here, you can see that we went ahead and folded our little triangle pieces here. What we're going to do is we're just going to open these up, just a little bit like so, and we're just going to fold it in half over itself. It's the same on both sides. We're going to do that with all of them. This is going to help hold our flower together. Flip it over, open this up, fold it down, open this up, fold it down. What we have here also is we have our big gap. We need to close this up. The way we're going to close this up is we're just going to open up this corner here, slide it over, and just cover it like that just to hold it together right now. As you can see, we've got our little star shape going on. It's 5 pointed, which is what we're looking for. We're just going to pull, open one of these sides like so, and we're just going to grab our leaf and pull it out like this.
