Folding Stems for Origami Azalea

If you look down at our table here, you can see we have our kite shape within our diamond shape like so. What we're going to do is we're going to take and fold it over so we have just the diamond shape, just the large diamond shape. What we're going to do is starting where the multitude of all these stems are out, we're going to take and we're going to just fold it in half like this right along that line. Make sure it's very straight and crease it very nice. There we go. What this is going to do is this is going to make this stem a little bit smaller. We're going to reach up here and we're going to just do this the same side, making sure everything creases real good and nice. There we go. Fold it back over. As you can see, it's not lining up quite perfectly, meaning I go something off somewhere in there. We'll fold it back to our other large pieces, and we've already folded this one down in there, so what we're going to do is just take this piece here and fold it back up. It's going to mimic the other side there. We started making our stem very thin. This is going to be make it a lot different than from wherever the leaves start, so we'll continue on with the leaves.
