Selecting Paper For an Origami Rose

Alright! I'm going to teach you how to make a rose but now this one really does matter if you get it done just right. What we are going to do is take our piece of paper that we have here and this is a lot larger then the regular origami paper that we would normally use. It is lot thicker but you get the idea. We are going to take and we are just going to fold it over just bisected it like so. Make sure that you get the corners just right. I kind of just work it down just a little bit just easy. So make sure we get the bend in there. I'm going to go ahead and crease this with my nail cause I want it to be good and flat. I'm going to open it back up. We are going to take this edge here and I'm going to bring it right down to the center crease. If you did not fold it right you would know at this point right here cause it would just not line up. Crease it down like so and crease this with my finger nail. Try to make sure that we keep everything good and straight. We are going to open it back up and we are going to take the other edge and do the same thing. Just bring it right to the center. Bring it down and crease it out there you go there is our beginning.
