Parts Identification for a Power Planer

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about parts identification. On our planer, we have our rear handle with our trigger switch. In front of that, we have our front handle which also doubles as our blade depth adjustment guide. On the other side of our handle, we have our trigger lock. This is going to lock our tool in the on position. The opening at the base is called the mouth or the throat and in that we have our blades or our irons. And lastly the shiny silver part on the bottom is called the sole of the planer and our large upper section is the body which also has the motor housing.
