Storage Tips for a Power Planer

Hi, I'm Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about storage of your planer. This particular model of planer comes with a hard case to store the planer in. This is probably the best storage solution for this tool. You always first want to make sure that you retract that blade back into the planer so that you are not setting it down on anything that could chip or damage the blade. Make sure that you wrap up that cord real nicely and make sure that it doesn't get caught in the case when you close it. It is always good to store your tools in elevated location so that no children could access to them or a locked cabinet is always a good idea.
