Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about the switch action. Now before you plug in your tools, you always want to squeeze the trigger switch just to make sure that the tool is not locked in the on position. The side of our switch we do have a trigger lock. If you squeeze the trigger and push that lock in, it will lock the tool in the on position. So again before you plug it in, squeeze that trigger and make sure that it is not already turned on. Now on this particular tool, our trigger switch is not a variable speed switch which means when you squeeze the trigger, it will come on at full speed and when you let off the trigger, it will stop. If at any point when you are using your tool, the trigger switch stops working properly but your tool is still running, you could always unplug your tool and that will kill the power to your tool.
