Tool Use & Care for a Power Planer

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about tool use and care. First off you want to make sure that you have an appropriate way to secure the material that you are working on whether this be a vice or clamps. And you want to make sure that you never force the tool. This is going to damage the tool or your workpiece. Now if the trigger switch is not working properly, you want to make sure and get it fixed before you use your tool. And lastly before you make any adjustments or perform any maintenance on your tool, you want to make sure to unplug it.
