General Safety for a Power Planer

Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we will be talking about general safety. First off since the power planer can cause energy, you always want to make sure to read and understand all of the instructions that come with your tool. Now since this is an electric power tool which means it plugs into the wall, the tools can cause electric shock and fire. So again, you always want to make sure you fully understand all of the instructions that come with your tool. And lastly at the base of your tool, you do have a very sharp cutting blade that can cause very bad injuries, lacerations. You always want to make sure that you are aware of where that blade if you are carrying the tool or setting the tool down.
