Multidirectional Lunge for Functional Fitness
Hello my name is Carey Kepler and I’m a functional training coach. If you want to improve the quality of your life, improve your athletic ability or have a question about the following exercise you can contact me at http://www.boundless-energy.com. The following exercise is a multi-directional lunge with a medicine ball twist. During this exercise you’re going to use this entire body. While improving the flexibility and range and motion of your torso. During this activity you’re going to take a medicine ball, start light, you can always increase weight as you get better and stronger with the exercise. You’re going to start with a lunge forward medicine ball starts over your head as you lunge down you’re going to twist the medicine ball to your side. You’ll stand back, and you’re going to switch directions. You’re going to pivot your foot, lunge and twist, your back center, lunge and twist, and again to the side. You’ll want to perform this exercise on both sides for eight to ten reps and of course increasing up to fifteen.
