Hi this is Jared on be half of Expert Village, and for the second part of winning strategies, of winning strategies, I want to talk about being prepared, and this is both physically and mentally, and like I said the first part is physically and so the first thing you can do is make sure you're stretched out. This sport is very physical and very active and you move around a lot, so there are a lot of muscles you can pull, in your legs and even your arms. So you want to make sure before matches your adequately stretched, also physically you want to make sure you have enough time to warm up before your match. So that means doing forward hands, doing back hands and your body gets warmed up so that the blood could be pumping to your extremities, and you'll have good hand eye coordination. So you want to allow enough time to stretch and also warm up. Now as far as being mentally prepared. You want to make sure you stay focused. Table tennis is a very mental game so it's very easy to loose your train of thought in middle of a match and even in the middle of a point. Make sure you stay focus and your mind is thinking about what your next move is. Now also in being mentally prepared you want to make sure you focus on your opponent's weakness. Sometimes it's better then rather looking at your own weakness to think about how your opponent will mess up this way you can adjust your game, focus on what's worst for them and what helps you out in your game. So being mentally prepared is very important.
