How to Use Under spin in Table Tennis

Hi, This is Jared on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I want to talk to you about under spin. Under spin goes hand in hand with the two strokes push and chop. When you're generating under spin what you're going to be wanting to do is have your opponent keep it short or hit it into the net. Under spin can be done with a serve like this. If you'll notice, I'm coming in like this, hitting the bottom of the ball, going down with my racquet, so that the ball is spinning in this direction, where they will hit it down, or hopefully it'll go into the net, or at least it will stay low. Under spin is primarily how points are begun. With under spin serve. Now lets see how that spin reacts off the opponents paddle.
