Attaching the Top Straps to a Bikini

JENNIFER CROW: Hi, this is Jennifer and I'm the owner of wedgiewear.com, and we're here with Expert Village. And then at this time, you have your other straps that you've made for the tops. Then what you can see, you can just cut it off to make it nice. It doesn't matter which one you start with. And you're just going to sew it right over the part that you've already sewn, and you can do this many of ways. You can tuck it in like that to make it look better or leave it out. Just doesn't really--just whatever you want to do. And again, you're just going to stick it under the machine. And since this is a very thick part, you might just want to kind of work it through by yourself. And then you do want to also double-back the stitch as well to make sure it's on there. Then once you get maybe halfway through or something, you can start using the machine. Just cut off the string. Make sure that it does cover up everything, and again, you might--since there is some extra right here, probably you just need to go ahead and cut this part off right here. Just cut that out. And then probably, what would look the best is if you did some hand-stitching just because the machine tends to show more. And right here, you can actually get this part under and just very little, take the whole side of this, and it would just look a lot better than if you took a machine. So we can do that later. And now you have one of your straps and you're going to do the same thing to the other one.
