Setting Up the Paint for Nail Art

I'm Judy Franck, for Expert Village. And we are going to be doing some nail art today. Ok, what I've done now is, I've just got set up so I can reach things easily, now this is the first time I'm using this paint pallet here, I used to use a small one which was easier on a small table, this is a little big so I'm trying to feel my way, just so I have a comfortable fit so I can reach in and grab my paint real easily, if I can't reach it easily it slows me down ,and when I'm working doing nails I want it to be fast and I definitely don't want to be slowed down by things not being set up right, so that's always really important to me, to get yourself set up right so your not bogged down with the little details. So what we are going to do is, we are going to, lay out the paints that I'm going to be using, and I like to separate them and put little blobs of white paint here and there, just because that white I'm going to use it, and mix other colors with, so I don't have to dirty up my white, if I only put one little speck down. I want to have it all so I can get to it quick. So what we are going to start off with is the background, on her nails, and I'll show you how to build a background which is will be the sky . And I like to get my models loosened up first, if I'm doing their nails if they are real stiff, I like to wiggle them around a little bit just so I can move and manipulate their fingers better, if I can't move and manipulate the fingers, its too stiff and it will make me slow down and I want to get it done and go from one nail to the next with the same paint color , this way the paint dries faster, if you do a little at a time you, don't want to do one nail at a time you want to do several at a time all with one color and that's what we are going to do next.
