The Theory Behind "Fill the Blank" the Reading Game

Hi, I am Katalin, the creator of Creative English. I am here on behalf of Expert Village, and I am going to explain you why reading games are important for children. Well, the principle about this game is that you actually help to develop the skill in your child how words can be put together. So basically they have already understood the idea that letters make out words. And sometimes it's very difficult to make the letters. So they know certain words but they can't see these words coming from other words. So they can't see the hidden words. And this game will help them to develop this idea so they can, they can see how many more words you can make from very simple words. It will help them to play Scrabble maybe later on when they only have the letters. They can see the basic idea.
