How to Re-Grout Tile: Part 3
And this we have already re-grouted, and there’s going to be like a thin film that you see comes off on my hand that you need to get off. What you’re going to do, you’re going to get a wet sponge- just plain water, don't add soap, don’t add anything because you haven’t sealed the tile yet. And you just want to wipe off this film and rinse your sponge frequently because you want to get it all off before you seal it. And wash it probably twice- two or three times just to be sure. If you have any large chunks that are on there, those will rub off with some pressure. Just wash it two or three times and make sure that it’s clean water the last time you’re washing it. You might also, if you have some real stubborn spots, you might have to get a putty knife or something and just lightly scrape. You don’t want to hit the grout too much because you haven’t sealed it. And be sure to seal it because you don’t want your grout molding and being really, really nasty in about four days.
