Side Shuffle Exercise for Triathlon Training

Hi my name is Carey Kepler, I’m a functional training coach. I coach triathletes and do triathlons myself. If you would like to improve your sports performance, improve the quality of your life or have questions about the following exercise please contact me at http://www.boundless-energy.com. This is a side shuffle. You want to take a ladder you can place on a track or field or simulate using some other way. On the side shuffle you want to start with one toe in the ladder, you’re going to remove the foot placing one toe in, quickly removing and placing each foot in the prong. The arms should swing as if you were running through the ladder. Again you are working on eye, foot, hand coordination which will improve your running technique and improve your acceleration and moving those feet quickly off the ground for speed.
