DOUG JENKINS: Hi, I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Now we're disassembling the interior of the car in order to get good access to the floor and the frame repair area. A modern car, the seats are made separate of the car and they're set in the car bolted in. Old fashioned cars like this, honest to goodness, the seat is built into the car. It's got a wooden floor, many wooden frame members and they build the seat like you're building a house. They start with a flat floor and then they start fastening seat parts to it and then they cover it all. So Ralph is--right here, he's removing the welting from the back of the seat so he can get to the structure of the seat. He's saving all these pieces and will be able to reinstall them when he's done with the frame repair.
