How to Sculpt Figure of a Bust

JORGE BENLLOCH: Well, we are reshaping. We are going to advance as I said that leg a little bit because it gives more movement to the body. Then, we're going to put that leg on the rear and it's going to give the hips some kind of movement to the hips, too. That's good to use that flexible coil that you can move the sculpture. That's fantastic. I mean the plasticity, that's the good stuff of the clay is that later you want to move it, you move it, and have a lot of movement. And you can reshape and do what whatever you want, that's part of the fun, working with clay. Then, after we have like this kind of basic shape, we are going to work a little bit serious about volumes where the bones are, where the muscles are, and all the volumes.
