How to Shape Base of a Bust

JORGE BENLLOCH: We're going to make, as I said, a woman torso. The women, they have this fantastic, attractive figure like, I would say, pear shaped but kind of have the hips wider than men, and I selected these images because they are quite extreme or exaggerated. They are a little bit of [INDISCERNIBLE] to put it that way. That looks good, it looks very woman. Women have curves and the sculptors, they would love that. Then, we have to make some kind of movement of the body before we start constructing it. That's why the coil that is a little bit flexible, it helps, okay? Then, we have to make the proportion first, more or less. We have to load but not too much, the rear backside. We have to have some kind of movement, too. I mean, if she's standing up, at least one leg is going to be at the front and the other one in the back, some kind of thing like that in order to give some kind of movement to hips. We just divide this and we have those two legs here, then now we put the chest, very important. MAN: You're going to wrap it up in just 10 seconds? JORGE BENLLOCH: And then we start constructing all the back, all the front.
