Learn About the Unpredictability of Circuit Bending

AMANDA CLAIRE: So, I know I said this a couple of times, but I just want to reiterate that circuit bending is kind of unpredictable. You never know what you're going to find but also, once you've made a bend, you also never know exactly what it's going to do all the time. In this particular case, I was sort of happy to find out, pleasantly surprised, that this looping bend that we installed, actually is kind of somewhat very bold and somewhat unpredictable, depending when we press a button and how, I mean this particular toy as this little control over here for these different, I don't know, modes; there's like music and animals or whatever. The point is it turns out that this bend that we installed has different effects depending on what we do, you know, which buttons we push and when. So I'm just gonna, for the next, just, maybe minute or so, I'm going to play with it and show you how this we kinda have a cool result here which is a bend that turns out that it's kind of unpredictable and pretty versatile. So let's turn this on here and listen to some of the sounds that'll make. So, really cool, I mean kind of unpredictable, lot of diverse behavior in that one bends. So it's kinda of the nature of what we're doing.
