How to Finish Cracking the Toy Case for Circuit Bending

AMANDA CLAIRE: All right, now we're really going to crack the case. I've got all the screws out. I have these two set aside, because they were the ones in the handle, so mainly they're a little bit different. I've got this all loosened, ready to come out, and so, here we go. Now, this is an important stage right here right now, because sometimes either the battery pack or the speaker will be connected to the opposite side of that gadget that the circuit board is on. And so, what I mean is, when you open the case you don't just want to open it really quick like a book, because you might break some wires. In this case, if you look, you see that the battery pack is connected to circuit board, the battery pack is on this blue piece, the circuit board is inside. So, you want to be careful when you open it, because sometimes you do have the battery pack on the opposite side of the circuit board or you've got maybe the speaker on the opposite side. So basically, when you crack the case, just kind of be sort of gentle and just kind of lift it, 'cause it will be the first time you're looking in it, so you might want to play that music from 2001 and that [SOUNDS LIKE] tooot-tooot-toooot that you see the circuit board for the first time and it's like [SOUNDS LIKE] taan-taannn, like the world of possibility opens up before your very eyes.
