Hi. My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make a braided wreath of bread. Okay, so it's been a few minutes. These have rested. Take our damp towel. Place it to the side. Now what we're going to do in the meantime is we're going to take these dough balls and we're going to set them back in our bowl that we had over here that we were using to proof the bread. We'll put the towel back on top just to keep the moisture in there while we work on. We're going to do them one at a time. So let's spread out our flour here. Now you want to make sure you don't have too much flour. Because if you have too much flour you just basically dry these things out. So what I'm doing here. I'm going to put all my flour basically at one end of the cutting board. Put a thin layer on here but I've got all my flour at one end and just work back into it if I need to. Alright so we're going to take our bread and we're going to start rolling it out into very, very, very long pieces. And what I do, I put my fingers like this and as I roll it I just spread my fingers out and it helps elongate the dough. And you want to keep it as even as you can while you're doing it. So for every one I do on the right side I have to do one on the left side to even it out. And you'll experience some difficulty with the bread, the bread will, or the dough rather, it's not bread yet. It'll try to fight you a little bit on being stretched. The idea here is we're going to try to get to somewhere around 18 to 20 inches. Now I know that this cutting board is a 23 inch long cutting board so if I can get, actually it's 22 and 7/8ths, but if I can get, whoa, goodness, why is it moving around. If I can get somewhere near the length of the cutting board, I'll be good. And it looks like this one is right on the money. Nice and even and it's well within the 20 inch or so range. The main objective here is to make sure that all of your ropes are the same length. Naturally, we want to also make sure that we are rolling out all six dough balls.
