Cutting the Shape for a Henna Wall Hanging

So now we are on to the wall hanging project. What I'm going to do is I'm going to cut a square out of a thick canvas fabric cause I want to use it as a wall hanging. Something that is sturdy enough that would hold its shape and also hold the Henna. I'm going to cut a rectangular shape out of the fabric and I'm just going to use this as a simple wall hanging just to hang above my desk. So I want to have clean edges so I don't have to necessarily sew the edge if I don't want to. We would just cut the edges so now we have the finish piece of fabric so we can start our design on.
