How to End a Song with Good Stage Presence

ALEX BOYE: [INDISCERNIBLE] the color of the radiant sea, move every mountain in my life 'cause I know that you're with me. And turn water into wine or let the wind turn back time as long as I know I'm with you, hey, I can do anything, huh, impossible! [END SONG] Yeah, all right. So, here's the thing, right? That was just a quick example of how to end the song, okay? You gotta end it big especially if it's your last song or song that you want. "I can do anything impossible." And you go, and you end like this, bam, you know what I mean? Take your microphone, "Impossible," bam, like this and you just let the crowd love you, man. 'Cause some people they do the song, all right, and they're like, "Long as I know I'm with you, I can do anything impossible." And there's like, "Anyway, the next song I want to do..." "No!" You got to let your audience love you. 'Cause that's the problem, it's like--sometimes, well, I don't know. "No, no, no, no!" "Yes, yes, yes!" 'Cause you spent all those hours working on it, so you let them clap for you, okay? So, you just sing, "Anything impossible," and then you stop, bam, and stay there. That was beautiful. They just look and they're like, "Oh, my gosh." Stay there, don't move 'cause you get the clap of your life. It's awesome. Anyway, we'll see you on the other side. We're going to talk a little bit more about how to end the song.
