ALEX BOYE: My name is Alex Boye, we're here on behalf of Expert Village, and we are going to talk to you now about how to not suck onstage, how to have stage presence. I want to talk a little bit about musicians. Musicians always get left behind. We're talking about a solo, a person that gets up and he does his solo. So, we're going to have--we have my homeboy get out right here now and I want to--give us--this is [PH] Sterling, by the way. Sterling, give him a little solo. I'm going to give you a rhythm, alright? STERLING: Okay. ALEX BOYE: And so, just imagine, I've done my vocals. Ladies and gentlemen! Sterling! Clap your hands. Yeah. Alright, stop there. Okay, Sterling, we know that you've got a talent but here's a thing, you gotta show it to them. STERLING: Okay. ALEX BOYE: Okay. See, we can hear your talent but now, we need to see it. Okay. When you watch many of those guys, the Robert Plants and all those crazy people and Slash, there are some people who are really cool, you know what I mean. It's okay. I'm not saying that if you are a cool person and you chill, then you have to be who you are but what I'm saying is that you've gotta be an excited and a crazy person version of that cool, alright? Now, I tell you for example right here, you've got that--you're going here, alright, who you're performing to? STERLING: Audience. ALEX BOYE: Well, go tell them! STERLING: Alright. ALEX BOYE: Alright, give me that thing. Give me that thing. So you are here, alright? No, [INDISCERNIBLE]. So, you're coming out here, it's your turn. You've been waiting. You traveled from Atlanta all the way to Michigan on the bus with your friends, the whole bus things and everything and you get there and you get up, you sound checked, you spent three hours working on your gig and then you come up and then you're like [START SONG] gat, gat, gah [END SONG], heck no! STERLING: Okay. ALEX BOYE: Heck you! So, this is your people right here, alright? So now, so on the other side, we're going to talk to see how Sterling is going to work now and the girls are going to go absolutely crazy. You're good looking, right? Alright? You just watch. See you on the other side.
