ALEX BOYE: Greetings! My name is Alex Boye, I'm here on behalf of Expert Village, and we're talking about how to perform successfully on stage and not suck. Right now, we're talking about--I want to talk to you about the three-song set. This is one of the things which I found that if you do it right, you can sell tons of CDs at your live concert. Three song sets, alright? I talked to you about in the beginning about the fact that that just the first song, they're just beginning to know you. Okay? The second song, alright, is usually one where--okay, now, they're starting to get who you are and then the third song is where you're shining and you show them your talent, okay? First song, getting to know you. Second song, they're still getting to know you, you're getting an understanding of who you are. Third song, bam! You shine. Okay? And I always say the third song, if you imagine a radio song, okay, a song that's on the radio. It's been there, it's been carefully picked up. They don't just have any song. You have radio program as worldwide but they think about these things. They do their homework. So, the third song, your radio song is what, your most catchy song. A radio song is catchy. So, your third song should be something that is really catchy and energetic and up-tempo always. Don't make your third song a downer. If you start off with a ballad, if--unless you're going to run around on the stage and you're going to throw things and you're going to do crazy things, don't do a ballad for your third song, for your last song. Always end on an up. You sell more CDs that way. Trust me. Unless you have a story in front of it but we're going to go into that later on. So, first song, getting to know you, second, beginning to know you, last song, then they're starting to listen to the song, okay?
