How to Flatten Dough for Gingerbread Man Recipe

Hi, I'm Katalin, the creator of creative English, in Hungary and I am here, on behalf of Expert Village. Today, I'm going to show you how to make gingerbread men, for Christmas. First of all, you need to flour the board, a bit; otherwise it's going to stick. Just spread it with your hand. Not too much, just a little bit, everywhere. Now, put it in the middle and get your rolling pin. Gently, you start flattening this piece down so you can go to both directions, if it has flattened a bit, then you turn it around. Make sure that you have some flour underneath and then you just carry on, flattening it. Try not to break it because it's a little bit hard of pastry but you shouldn't break it.
