An Open Break Right Turn Salsa Dance Move

Continuing with the open break right turn, we're just going to give the ladies some tips on following it. He's going to get you ready on 7. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, get ready. When he pushes, of course, you push. When he pulls, you pull. He's going to lift up that arm. Girls, don't fight it. When he lifts up, don't hang on him because you're just going to make his job harder. He's going to lift up the hand, go with it. When he flicks open the hand, you're going to open yours too. What you don't want to do is be squeezing onto his hand so tight, that when he tries to open it he can't. When you feel him flick the hand, go with it. Your job girls is to place this arm in front of your face. You don't want to have the elbow like this. A lot of girls anticipate the turn. As soon as the arm goes up, they think alright we're doing the turn and they're going without the guy. You want to wait for the lead, so on 3, all you want to do is keep the arm in front of your face where you can see it and resist. Press forward against him. He's pressing forward. You should be pressing forward too. Keep the arms stiff. That way when he starts the turn, instead of your arm going by itself like that, then he can't lead you. You want to keep the arm in front of your face. Keep it stiff. That way he can steer you around through the turn. 5, 6, 7, he's going to stop with you his arm and by closing his hand, and then just back to basic 1, 2, 3. All together, it goes basic, 2, 3, 5, 6, get ready, we push, pull, resist him, keep the arm stiff in front of the face, 7, and back to basic, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7.
