Essentials of Effective Health Club Management

I'm Ivan Madar, I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to be talking about the essentials of effective club managment. By clubs, I mean "health clubs, fitness clubs, spas, tennis clubs, and it will probably translate also to management of other fitness facilities, golf facilities, and so on. Wherever you're managing people, wherever you're managing guests or members." This is a summary of my experiences over 25 years of managing various clubs. I'd like to breakdown the managing of spas into several areas. The most important, being management of people. That would follow with the management of facilities, management of programs and finally the management of money and marketing. Management of marketing and the manager of money and management of marketing has been covered many, many times and it varies incredibly from one facility to another. It is the management of people, the staff and the members and the guests that really is the essence of, my perception of proper management. So, that's what I would like to concentrate on the most.
