How to Dry Wrap African American Hair
Hi! This is Liz Muller from Liz’s Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and now I am going to proceed to show you how you would take care of this if you were at home at night and you are ready to keep the style or keep it nice and straight and neat. With ethnic hair or relaxed hair you need to keep it nice and neat and straight; and at night you want to turn around and wrap this. This is called a dry wrap. What I am doing is I am going to go ahead and proceed to spin the hair around like this, spraying a sheen to the hair so that it stays nice and smooth. It also takes the frizz out of the hair. I am going to ahead and go round and round, going round like this, placing my hand here. If you cannot keep it down like that and you are having a problem, you might want to place a pin in certain areas of the head to keep it down. You are going to go ahead and spin round and round like this. Spin round, and taking a flat bristle brush, keeping it nice and straight, spraying it for one last shiny look, getting a hairnet to place around the hair piece, and you are going to place it to keep it down.
