How to Layer African American Hair
Hi! I am Liz Muller from Liz’s Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida. As you see I have decided to layer Nicky’s hair like a layered hairstyle. It is very in now to use your hair layered, a kind of flip like with a little bit of a curve kind of look and it has got like a motion that is very Fara Fawcett like but really it is not. It is just got like a nice sway kind of motion to it. And what I am going to do is show you how to get that. You can take a curling iron that is either Marcel or a curling iron that is plug in and has a round barrel. Okay, you can go ahead and take the hair, see, to twist it like this, go around and around. You want to go ahead and get close to when you give it a body and give that hair body. And when you take it out like that so it forms a curl like that, see, and show you that forms like a little curl. Again you are going to take the hair, you want the hair to have body, it does not have to be thin sections, you want that curve, that bounce and that curl in the hair. So again you are going to pull it back; you are going to place it in the hair; and when you proceed to curl it one more time, to give it a flip kind of curl sensation look see.
