Why Make NHRA Racing Driver Cards?

TINA STULL: Hi, I'm Tina Stull and I drive the Top Dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, today, we're going to talk about the basics of racing. It all comes down to really what the purpose of your card is and do think about who you're going to be giving these cards to. If it's going to be--if you're really pulling toward kids, say, your kid drives a junior dragster and you want to have a kid-friendly card, get creative. Make it a "color me" and allow the kids to use crayons to color the dragster. There are all sorts of ways. If it's going to be mainly corporate, I keep it a little bit more professional, and just try to think about who these cards are going to. If you happen to be--for me, I do a lot with the military. Probably, next year I'll have some military theme on my card. But--you're only limited by your imagination. It can be cost-prohibitive but there are alternatives. You can go with a smaller card. Maybe do something where if you're teamed with another driver, put both of you on the card and then you can split the cost. But I find them extremely helpful, and even though I'm not a real well-known driver, even I get requests for the cards. So you're only limited by your creativity.
